The Advocates Documentary Screening & Panel, West Hollywood

August 28, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a film screening and panel discussion of The Advocates at the West Hollywood City Council Chambers. The event is free and open to the community. Learn about the crisis of homelessness in LA and how you can help through an intimate lens into the tireless work of homeless advocates. There will be a reception at 6 p.m. with light refreshments. The film screening takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., followed by a panel discussion featuring an Everyone In organizer, Celina Alvarez (Executive Director, Housing Works), Rémi Kessler (Director, “The Advocates”), Rudy Salinas (Chief Program Officer at The Center at Blessed Sacrament) and Robert Morrison (Program Director, Housing Works). All are invited and RSVPs are required.

This screening is the result of a partnership between The Advocates Director Rémi Kessler and United Way LA’s Everyone in Campaign. The film is now being screened throughout LA County through August 2019.
