Film Screening

The Advocates Documentary Screening & Panel, Santa Clarita

September 25, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join us for a film screening and panel discussion of The Advocates at the Centre in Santa Clarita. The event is free and open to the community. Learn about the crisis of homelessness in LA and how you can help through an intimate lens into the tireless work of homeless advocates. There will be a reception at 6 p.m. with light refreshments. The film screening takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., followed by a panel discussion featuring an Everyone In organizer, an advocate from the film, Laura Seamands (Housing Benefits Specialist, Mental Health America – Military Resource Center), and Ramona Casupang, LCSW (LA County Department of Mental Health, Homeless Outreach and Mobile Engagement). All are invited and RSVPs are required.

This screening is the result of a partnership between The Advocates Director Rémi Kessler and United Way LA’s Everyone in Campaign. The film is now being screened throughout LA County through September 2019.
