South L.A. Public Forum: “Crafting a Community Response”

October 28, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for a public forum on crafting a community response within South L.A. to our housing and homelessness crisis, hosted by Community Coalition (CoCo) and featuring an opening keynote by Patrisse Cullors, co-founder of Black Lives Matters and founder of Dignity and Power Now. The forum will also include a panel discussion featuring Pete White of the Los Angeles Community Action Network (LA CAN), Walela Nehanda of Spit Justice, James Nelson of Dignity and Power Now, Akili from the Housing is a Human Right Campaign, and Angela James, South L.A. field organizer for Everyone In.

Change starts in our backyard and within our communities, so it’s critical to take part in these local conversations. If you live in South L.A., don’t miss this event!
