The Advocates Documentary Screening & Panel, South LA

Join us for a film screening and panel discussion of The Advocates at SAJE (Strategic Actions for a Just Economy) in South LA. The event is free and open to the community. Learn about the crisis of homelessness in LA and how you can help through an intimate view of the tireless work of homeless advocates. There will be a reception at 6:30 PM with light refreshments. The film screening takes place from 7 to 8:30 PM, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Eric Ares (Manager, Homeless Systems Change for the Home for Good Team) and features Everyone In organizers, Director Remi Kessler, and the advocates from the film. Screening & panel in English with Spanish interpretation for both.
All are invited and RSVPs are required.
This screening is the by-product of a partnership between The Advocates Director Remi Kessler and United Way LA’s Everyone in Campaign. The film is now being screened throughout LA County between March 2019 through August 2019.
