DESCRIPTION:Advocates needed! \nHousing trailers are coming to provide much needed temporary shelter for families experiencing homelessness in the Crenshaw/Expo area. \nWe need you to show up and support parents and kids who do not have stable housing. We’re asking for volunteers to work with Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care Services (HOPICS) to prepare this temporary housing so that it is available as soon as possible. Volunteers will help with site setup\, assembling kids’ play-sets\, and preparing the units for families to move in. \nSign up here and you’ll hear from us soon! \nYou can also donate directly via the Safe Landing Wish List which includes toiletries\, cleaning supplies\, and other household items.
