Canvassing and Training in Venice

We’re going door to door on Saturday to get Venice residents to voice their support for the Rose Avenue Apartments. We’ll be doing a training first, along with Venice Community Housing, so don’t worry if this is new to you. The Rose Avenue Apartments would house people experiencing chronic homelessness and foster youth aging out of the system with nowhere to go. The Venice Neighborhood Council will meet on November 20th to decide the project’s fate and it’s critical that we turn out a good crowd. Canvassing is an incredibly effective form of grassroots organizing and we’ll make sure you feel equipped and excited to do it!

The training will start at 2pm and last for an hour, followed by canvassing.
